Darker Times Book Club - November Pick

Read the best horror with the best kinds of folks, Darker Times subscribers.

Each month Darker Times hosts a members only monthly horror book club. Over the past couple of months, we've read Mongrels by Stephen Graham Jones, The Library at Mount Char by Scott Hawkins, and Jackal by Erin E. Adams. The discussions have been hilarious, insightful, and strange. It has been so much fun to meet virtually and just talk about a good horror book.

We are gearing up for our next month's pick and wanted to extend an invitation to people who haven't had a chance to participate! Next month we'll be reading ...

Whatever horror books we want!

This month goes out to the always reading book lover. For November, we're doing an open book club or BYOB book club that's an open discussion for our paid members around the horror books they are reading. So if you weren't able to be a part of last month's book club, now is the time to get in on the fun!

Here's a quick run-down of how the book club works:

We virtually meet weekly or biweekly to discuss the book—or books in this case. During the week while we’re each being touched and tormented, we can use Discord to chat about our reactions to what we're reading and engage other folks on the books they are reading. We'll share recommendations, feelings, reactions, and more around the horror books we're reading.

Want to join?

The Darker Times Book Club is a paid subscriber exclusive. Discussions and communication regarding the book club will be facilitated through Discord, which is another paid subscriber perk!

To join the discussion on Discord, you will need to be a paid subscriber BEFORE November 1st in order to get the invite link. We will share information regarding discussions and other book club-y things through the Discord so be on the lookout for the invite.
